Founded in 1979 by just 10 dedicated members, the Conroe Professional Firefighters Association was built on courage, unity, and a vision for a stronger future. These pioneers paved the way for the safety, rights, and resources our firefighters have today. From those humble beginnings, we have grown to over 147 members, continuing their legacy of service to protect our community and those who answer the call.

The CPFA was established on October 5, 1979 to better ensure the working rights, safety and benefits of the professional firefighters of the City of Conroe. The CPFA was originally chartered by only 10 Conroe firemen and today it has grown to over 147 members! The CPFA Local 2731 is a proud affiliate of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) and the Texas State Association of Firefighters (TSAFF).
